Topic: The phenomenology of awareness to the 'self' and of the experience of joy and suffer:  existential implications.

Abstract: In this work I will discuss the phenomenology of different awareness levels, reflective and non-reflective, in light of Heidegger's and Sartre's thought, and offer a phenomenological description of joy and suffering. Given this analysis, I will draw some lines between the emotional experiences to the awareness of the 'self'; specifically between reflective awareness and suffering (or at least non-joy). Furthermore, I will discuss the existential implications which stems from this affinity, emphasising the effect on 'self' awareness and experience of meaning.
