Subject:  Rabbinical Literature in Mediaeval Italy

Abstract:  The textual theory of medieval Talmudic scholars: Jewish medieval views concerning versions in the Talmud, their philological process and their textual criticism. The research will focus on the works of Rabbi Shelomo Ben Adret (Rashba).
