Subject: Intellectual history of Europe in the Early Modern period
Advisor: Prof. Raz Chen-Morris, Prof. Dror Wahrman
Abstract: I am currently engaged in research focused on the retail book market in 16th-century Antwerp. By analyzing data sourced from the archives of the Officina Plantiniana, the printing house established by Christoph Plantin, my study delves into the interplay among historical context, genre, and material form. The objective is to chart the transformations within the book market during the mid-16th century and understand the historical catalysts behind these changes.
Bio: I am a master's student in the history department. I earned my bachelor's degree at the Hebrew University, in the 'Amirim' honors program and in the history department. I am interested in intellectual and cultural history, paleography, archives and everything in between
