Advisor: Dr. Lee Mordechai and Dr. Amit Tubi

Abstract:  My dissertation, under the supervision of Dr. Lee Mordechai (History) and Dr. Amit Tubi (Geography), concerns knowledge formation and learning from the past in research on historical climate-society interactions. I am particularly interested in multidisciplinary research on climatic and societal changes during the period known as the Little Ice Age, the development of the Little Ice Age as a conceptual framework, and the lessons past researchers have drawn from that period.

Bio:  I am a research student at the Department of History and the Advanced School for Environmental Studies, focusing mainly on environmental history and historiography. I completed a BA in the History Honors Program and MA in History and Urban and Regional Planning at the Hebrew University.
