The purpose of the program is to instigate a vibrant community of honours students early in their academic path, who will conduct their work in an environment which encourages intellectual cooperation. For this purpose, students are granted full stipends as well as exemption from tuition, and they are offered a private workspace within the Mandel building. Mandel students also enjoy a unique curriculum taught by faculty teachers as well as guest scholars from Israel and from abroad. Mandel students also enjoy special social and academic activities.
A prerequisite for acceptance to the program is being an honors student during one’s undergraduate studies. The stipend is given throughout the two years of graduate studies in the academic track, and its purpose is to allow students to complete their studies in time. A call for proposal for applications is released every year in the beginning of the spring semester.
