Subject: Food in the Period of the Holocaust in Germany and the Nethterlands.

Abstract: My research will examine the food perspective in the period of the holocaust in Germany and the Netherlands. I’m especially interested in materialistic, social and symbolic questions regarding food. The main sources will be diaries and letters written by Jews during this period of scarcity and hunger.
