Since ancient times, imagination has often been seen as an inferior aspect of human life. The imagination, after all - in the best case - can only be an imitation of the truth. It has the power to cheat, deceive, and provide illusions in the service of power or ignorance. Like the ability to imagine, the relationship of similarity between two things has always been secondary to the relationship of identity. It is elusive, hard to trust and does not meet the need to set clear boundaries.
The annual graduation conference of the Mendel School's Master's Program, seeks to offer new observations on these conventions, through the various perspectives that are reflected in the research of the students of the program in the last two years.
