The Mandel School

The Mandel School trains the next generation of researchers in the humanities by forming an active and vibrant academic community. A community of various age-groups over extended periods of time – two years for graduate students and three to four years for doctoral and postdoctoral students. Within the school, various interdisciplinary research groups operate in which young scholars work beside experienced, senior researchers. The school also hosts leading scholars from abroad both for teaching purposes, as well as for research.

The following units, comprising the school, reside within the Mandel building:

M.A Honors Program

PhD Honors Program

Mandel–Scholion: Interdisciplinary Research Center in the Humanities and Jewish Studies

The Martin Buber Society of Fellows

The Mandel Building offers functionally sophisticated and spacious halls of study, allowing for a collaborative, friendly and intellectually inspiring work environment.
