I am working on my doctoral degree in the Department of History at the University of California, Berkeley, with a specialization in Jewish history. While my interests vary widely, I am currently exploring 18th and 19th century Jewish European intellectual history. I entered my doctoral program in the fall of 2016 and I have served as the graduate student instructor for the bachelor course on the history of the Holocaust. Prior to my current program I earned my bachelor's degree from the same institution with a major in sociology and a minor in philosophy. In this advanced seminar I look forward to developing my understanding of the possibilities and limitations of employing varying methodological approaches to the study of interpersonal relations in empirically-based historical research.
