Applications for the University President's Scholarship can be submitted up to two years after completing your MA degree.

In order to ensure the prevention of double funding, in cases where the student has received scholarships and grants from public funding in addition to this scholarship, the student will have to choose between this scholarship or other sources. The Scholarship Committee reserves the right to examine the additional sources, in order to prevent double funding. Candidates are requested to provide all relevant information on this subject in the application form.

You are eligible to apply for a Presidential Scholarship even after you have begun your doctoral studies, provided that you meet the deadlines specified in the call for applications. However, the regulations sometimes change, so it is recommended to read the call for applications when it is published.

An official transcript is a transcript stamped by the Faculty and can be obtained from the faculty's MA coordinator, Ms. Hivit Kodinsky, at hivitk@savion.huji.ac.il

Yes. Candidates who have not yet completed their degree can apply but are required to present their MA cirtification by the end of December in the first year of receiving the scholarship.

There is no connection between submitting the application and the supervisor's commitment to supplementary funding.

You are required to submit an abstract for your proposal, even though the committee has not yet met. The abstract of the research proposal should be of a reasonable length for an abstract. Maximum length is between 2.5-3 pages.

If you used external sources in writing the proposal, you must mention them.
