Yael Fisch is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Hebrew Literature at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. A scholar of Midrash and Aggadah, her research focuses on hermeneutics, poetics, and storytelling in ancient Jewish literature. She is the author of Written for Us: Paul’s Interpretation of Scripture and the History of Midrash and is currently working and publishing on Temple architecture and the Tannaitic imagination.
