Abstract: Generally, my research lies at the intersection of ethics and the philosophy of emotions. My current thesis focuses on grief. I explore the existential dimensions of grieving—how the experience of loss can unsettle one’s sense of meaning. At the same time, I examine what kinds of ethical responses grief calls for from the bereaved.
