Aditya Shinde is a Ph.D. candidate at George Washington University, Washington, D.C. He holds a Master’s degree in Modern History from the Centre for Historical Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. His research interests encompass South Asian and Urban History, with a particular focus on Indian Jewish communities and the intersections of religion, urbanization, and national identities. Previously, Aditya worked as a Research Assistant at Gateway House: Indian Council on Global Relations, one of India's leading foreign policy think tanks.
