While enjoying a rare moment in which the Israeli political discourse is a blessed respite from American politics, Moses Lapin lives in Jerusalem and is keen to perfect his personal/interpersonal skills. Born in Johannesburg, Mr. Lapin learned in yeshiva before studying history and philosophy at UCLA. Currently, he is graduate student at the Hebrew University in the departments of Jewish History andJewish Philosophy, writing on pre-modern historiography with Professor Moshe Halbertal. In the words of Averroes: “Stereotypically, for a Los-Angeleno, Mr. Lapin is an avid film-watcher, beach-goer, and brunch-eater, and when not dreaming of electric sheep, he dreams of archives. He’s my kind of guy.”
