Lea Wohl-Segal is a pre doctoral student in the Department of Hebrew and Comparative Literature at University of Haifa, under the supervision of Prof. Nitza Ben-Dov, recipient of the Israel Prize for Hebrew Literature. Her areas of focus are Talmudic literature, Kabbalistic literature, and modern Hebrew literature using postmodern interpretive tools and theories. Lea studies the early linguistic layers and allusions in Hebrew texts, and her research focuses on the reading of Agnon and questions of redemption and messianism in his writing.
