Lecture by German Poet Rainer René Mueller:
The legacy of German-Jewish thought and literature (Public talk, in English)
Poet Rainer René Mueller is one of the most prominent figures in contemporary German poetry. An heir to Paul Celan, during the last four decades Mueller has been writing dense, touching, at times violent poems that continue the reflection on German-Jewish tradition and legacy, while encompassing countless other realms, such as that of the visual arts and music.
Mueller will hold a series of lectures and meetings in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv between January 6-17. A poetry reading with the poet will take place at Leo Baeck Institute on January 13, 19:00.
Please find the meeting plan in the attached poster.
